You’ll have the opportunity to thrive among a collaborative and innovative team of designers and engineers of multiple disciplines to deliver a variety of functions including Software technical support, QA/QC clash detection, assistance with the preparation of deliverables, and support for in house developed automation programs. You’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors as you offer support for platforms such as NavisWorks, CADWorx and Civil 3D systems for the construction of our client’s advanced facilities. Working with the other members of our team, you'll provide technical support for our primary platforms, and oversee the implementation of BIM on new projects. You’ll use your knowledge to ensure designers are producing clash free designs. Position Summary:

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for directing BIM workflow for projects in the office as well as collaborating with our other offices and other project partners at an international level. We are looking for avid fans of technology from all disciplines who are willing to learn and grow from our diversity of projects.

  • Participate in project-based BIM Strategy for all projects in office & work with Project Manager in producing the project-based BIM Implementation document (PxP, BEP)

  • Provide BIM production support from project teams; including Project model setup, File Export and Deliverables

  • Ensure that Milestone BIM Models adhere to all internal and client specific standards as outlined in BEP

  • Understand project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination, and fabrication.

  • Providing BIM production support from project teams; including project model setup, primary discipline project work, and deliverable setup

  • Serves as liaison between IT staff and local BIM teams

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 10 years of experience in the AEC industry with a strong focus on BIM coordination and CAD administration.

  • Expertise in Autodesk Revit (Piping, MEP), AutoCAD, Plant3D, and Navisworks is required

  • Proficient in BIM processes, parametric design software, and API tools, enhancing software efficiency.

  • Skilled in pulling MTO (Material Takeoff) from various disciplines within Piping or Revit models.

  • Proven success in implementing BIM platform technologies and optimizing project workflows.

Please note: Ideal candidate must me local to Indianapolis area, there is no relocation for this position

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Technical or Associate’s degree in AEC or Building trades preferred

  • CADWorx design will be considered

  • Proficiency with editing software (Microsoft Word, Excel) and visualization software (Photoshop etc.)

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

  • Excellent organization and documentation skills
