You’ll continue to grow your career as a Water Resources Engineer for our water market clients by leading water quality studies, master plans, condition assessments and more. You’ll develop basis of designs, deliver detailed designs, and assist through engineering services during construction and treatment commissioning activities. You’ll work with industry recognized mentors as you grow your career into leadership and mentoring yourself.

You’ll interact directly with our team leadership, the owner and contractors throughout various phases of project delivery. You and your team will deliver work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce studies, designs and contract documents.

Your Impact:

Municipalities and wastewater agencies in the region have embarked on the implementation of major programs to significantly improve water quality and reduce wet weather sewer overflows into local rivers and streams. As a valued member of our Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Center of Excellence in Philadelphia, you’ll have the chance to support the delivery of some of the largest stormwater and GSI programs in the region. In a dynamic and fast-paced working environment, you'll gain experience evaluating and selecting the best approaches to solve a client’s challenges, planning and designing significant stormwater improvements, and more. We’d look to you to closely support and work directly with clients through the life of projects and programs, from studies, planning, design, compliance and permitting, and construction support. You will have the opportunity to manage project tasks and provide technical oversight and guidance to early-career designers in a collaborative working environment.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering

  • Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (P.E.) License

  • 8 to 12 years of technical and task management experience delivering water resources projects for municipalities

  • Strong knowledge of hydrology and stormwater and green infrastructure design

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, team-oriented work and mentoring practices, data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for mentoring junior staff, interns, and co-ops

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:  

  • Master’s degree in Engineering 

  • P.E. License

  • Philadelphia region work experience and strong network with local municipalities
