The Project Manager L2 (PM L2) has primary responsibility for managing a specific project or projects assigned by the Government, to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule and performance. The PM L2 monitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget and schedule. The PM L2 shall provide interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis. The PM L2 assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents.
Required: Must have the ability to perform routine system maintenance and computer (hardware) system maintenance (i.e. operator, organizational, sustainment, depot levels) functions. System support experience, specializing in installing, repairing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting C5ISR systems, (hardware). Has knowledge of, and can use, operating C5ISR systems and executing army maintenance management systems. Performs analysis of system operations. Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of C5ISR systems and individual peripheral devices. Must be available for assignment to various CONUS/OCONUS sites for extended terms.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other scientific, mechanical or technical discipline; four additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for the degree
Req: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2.
Desired: Military experience (highly desirable). Completion of a U.S. Military Service NCO or Senior NCO Academy Course and/or Warrant Officer Basic or Advanced Course. FSR supporting the maintenance of Army C5ISR systems/equipment (e.g. DCGS-A, C3T PORs). FSE’s experience exceeds all requirements (required).
