Job Description:

Independently selects methods, plans and coordinates the details, and carries work through to its conclusion with minimal guidance. Completed work is reviewed for soundness of analysis, the suitability of methods used, and for conformance with organizational analytical procedures and practices. Plans, coordinates and conducts complex reviews, assessments, studies and projects of a complex and non-routine nature. Reviews and prepares plans, forms and procedures, reports and related documents. Plans, arranges, and manages data collection and preliminary analysis work. Develops new information, considers data from a variety of sources, and modifies and originates approaches, methods, and procedures to plan and carry out assignments. Plans, develops, organizes, coordinates, implements and evaluates projects in support of programs for areas engaged in diverse operations and functions and serves as an advisor on all aspects of the assigned program areas. Reviews, conducts and evaluates sampling, surveys, inventories, data and findings. Monitors operations to identify and rectify problems. Evaluates adequacy of controls and corrective measures and identifies and makes determinations of alternate measures. Prepares, coordinates and/or reviews the preparation of portions of written plans, schedules and milestones for accomplishing goals. Organizes, schedules and administers supporting functions of appropriate meeting for discussion of issues. Establishes agenda topics, tracks resulting action items, coordinates development of presentations, and ensures complete coordination. Coordinates issues pertaining to project compliance, schedule and corrective actions. Develops and conducts various training. Participates in meetings regarding concerns related to the assigned projects. Prepares written reports and documentation regarding assigned projects. Performs collection and compilation of diverse technical and programmatic data from a variety of sources. Conducts analysis, integration, categorization, and summarization of technical and funding data on programs and develops briefings, information papers, and reports that explain and support programs, initiatives, solutions and investments. Evaluates, selects, adapts and modifies standard techniques and criteria. Performs scheduling, coordination and execution of the test. Monitors budgets, safety requirements and ensures quality is met.

This positon will be supporting G-3 and creating high level presentations at the CG level. Individual will provide data visualization and briefing presentations in support of HQ ATEC, Plans and Operations Directorate. Support will include preparing briefings of requested content to include graphics, visuals, and information and data presentation, support and preparation for ATEC meetings, collect and track action items from various meetings, provide graphics support, 15% TDY. Individual must have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in specialization or related discipline and 3 years applicable experience or have 5 to 7 yrs. applicable experience in related discipline; or a Master’s Degree in specialization or related discipline and 1 yr. applicable experience.

Must have specialized experience in designing high level presentations or marketing material and be an expert in all Microsoft programs including PowerPoint.

Essential Functions Form:

UNUSUAL OR SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting environmental conservation, restoration, compliance and pollution prevention projects. Requires professional knowledge of environmental principles, techniques and practices and environmental programs and issues. The ability to bend/stoop, squat, crawl, crouch, kneel, reach above shoulder level, push/pull, balance, and climb into or under a vehicle is required (up to 50%). Walking a minimum of 50 yards over rough terrain is required (up to 25%). The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required (up to 25%).

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work environment may be inside or outside depending on the task. The ability to work in outside field conditions that include hot and cold extreme temperatures and other outdoor climatic conditions is required (up to 25%). Must be able to work in areas where only portable restroom facilities are available (up to 25%). Work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task. Position will require multiple task efforts. Travel may be required periodically for specific task related functions as well as to obtain training necessary for this position.

EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES INVOLVED IN WORK TASKS

Analyzes data from various sources, such as inspection/evaluation reports, project information, and notices of violations and identifies and recommends the need for improvements or further study. Prepares portions of written reports and documentation regarding assigned projects. The ability to work around moving machinery/equipment and drive auto equipment, forklifts, and other equipment is required.

CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE

Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required with as little as one-hour advance notice.

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance in order to gain access to required areas, networks and systems within thirty (30) days of date of your offer letter. Must be able to obtain and retain a secret security clearance. Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Must be able to obtain and retain unescorted access to work areas. May be subject to other physicals or exams if required to wear a respirator or are designated by the COR to have other physicals due to the work area in which you are assigned. May be subject to exposure to noise, radiation, vibration, lead, dusts, acids, and solvents. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required. Must have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation for the purpose of moving around the proving ground to accomplish job functions and in order to operate a rental vehicle if and when travel is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a military driver’s license within 30 days of employment.
