About the Opportunity:

Robust infrastructure establishes the backbone of productive, economically strong communities as assets essential to commerce, trade, public safety and quality of life.

Due to our continued growth in the region Jacobs is hiring Document Controller in the UAE. Responsibilities include:

  • Support the document control process for change documentation using current systems available, i.e. Aconex, Prism

  • Take ownership of existing Change Register and keeping it up to date with Change Request, Change Authorisation Request, Instruction and Agreed Value of Instruction information

  • Monitor performance of Commercial Managers where change documents are not being progressed within agreed timescales. Provision of administrative support, where required

  • QA check all information coming on to the systems and process accordingly

  • Follow the distribution matrix for internal distribution of documents and correspondence

  • Produce quantitative, status and analysis reports

  • Support senior staff on routine and ad hoc project-wide assignments

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline ideally with at least 3 years professional experience within a project or programme management setting

  • Experience with EDMS such as Aconex/Prism

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential as well as IT skills covering Excel, Word and Outlook
