Jacobs Technology is the advanced technology division of Jacobs Engineering, one of the nation's largest engineering and technical services-only companies. Jacobs is the world’s top supplier of automotive test facilities, providing a full range of services to commercial automotive industry customers.
Customers include not only the world’s major vehicle providers and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), but also clients from the international motorsports community Our experience encompasses virtually every type of automotive test facility, including climatic and driveability wind tunnels; aerodynamic, acoustic, and thermodynamic wind tunnels; emissions test rooms; soak rooms; altitude chambers; engine and powertrain test cells; and electromagnetic anechoic chambers. We not only design and build these facility systems assets but also operate, maintain, and manage these facilities.
Jacobs is in search of a Test Scheduler for the Emissions Test Lab in Allen Park, MI.
Maintain Product Development Testing Schedule.
Maintain Evaporative Testing Schedules
Maintain Daily Test Revisions
Maintain PM/Maintenance Scheduling
Coordinate /Track Cancellations and Revisions
Maintain Site Upgrade/ Engineering Revision Scheduling
Manage Certification and Development priorities; coordinate adjustments/revisions as necessary to accommodate.
Maintain manpower forecasts with Product Development to manage test scheduling development.
Manage Brokered Testing. Brokered single point of contact; define test capabilities; Liaison; Quotations and Scheduling.
Manage / maintain the facility PM schedule. Coordinate preventative maintenance and quality control activities with the maintenance/engineering staff.
Support Requesting Community. Assist with test request development, trouble-shooting and issue resolution.
Support Powertrain Emissions Development, U.S. Certification, Homologation, & Vehicle engineering problem resolution.
Support the development of new equipment / test methodologies required to meet new emissions and fuel economy requirements.
Participate in the Safety Process
Delivery of financial objectives of the department(s) and the team
Additional assignments as necessary to deliver corporate objectives/support Operations Supervision
Support the development of new test requests by building the necessary inputs through the laboratory management system
