Skills/Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair, troubleshoot and maintain Research & Development evaluation and testing equipment that includes:
Engine and Transmission Dynamometers
Boilers, Compressors, Chillers
Pumps & Exhaust Systems
Hydraulic and Electrical Systems
Additional duties Include:
Communicate daily with equipment operators, test technicians and leaders on equipment functions, concerns and overall conditions
Conduct, develop, maintain, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program
Identify spare parts and manage vendor service reps and contractors as required
Manage the process of service requests, work orders and preventive maintenance tasks within CMMS (Maximo)
Assist with developing maintenance job plans and standard practices for equipment
Troubleshoot PLC logic via PLC software
Ability to write work instructions and safe job analysis for maintenance tasks and train other maintenance and test technicians.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND /OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements and Qualifications:
Excellent writing, communication, listening and comprehension skills.
Proficient in using a C omputerized Maintenance Management System (IBM Maximo preferred), MS-Excel, Outlook, Power point & Word
Project management and capital project experience preferred. Required to participate in new equipment Kanban’s and assist with determining spare part, service and PM requirements.
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
Associates Degree required in a technical field or equivalent technical training experience. Prefer Mechatronics, Electronics, HVACR, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
10+ years of maintenance experience on industrial equipment such as environmental chambers, boilers, compressors, chillers, pumps and exhaust systems, HVAC units, hydraulic systems, electrical and PLC systems.
Able and willing to work 10% to 20% overtime.

Criticality of Attendance
Overtime, regular days, off days: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with possible daily overtime and shifts over the weekends 100%
Shift, 1st, 2nd, 3rd: Day shift
Necessity for regular attendance: Critical, 100%
Urgency for punctuality: Critical, 100%
Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary. Must have flexibility of work days to cover weekend testing requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, health performance evaluation, and background check.
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to self or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Dependable personal transportation to work site is required.
