We’re seeking an Electrical Design Technician in our Appleton, WI office, and you’ll be part of a team who serves the Consumer Products, PharmaBio, Chemicals, Refining, Pulp & Paper, Power & Utilities and High Tech Industries. Our core life sciences network has contributed to becoming the largest provider of engineering and construction services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients and we’ve established ourselves as the center of excellence for Pulp and Paper facilities. Jacobs provides full-service engineering, procurement, and construction management services for both new and existing facilities, offering environmental and water / wastewater support, energy audits, and hygienic / sanitary assessments. For projects of every scale we provide design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services that support a facility’s entire life cycle. We’ll lean on you to design components or portions of systems, modify existing designs to develop or improve them and develop processes that require innovation and ingenuity. And, we’ll tap into your expertise as you support installation and commissioning of designed systems. You’ll be a great resource on our team by demonstrating your passion, expertise and a desire to be mentored by our highly technical team.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Electrical and Controls Design
• Drafting/Design and related course work
• Proficient in the use of ACAD
• Exposure to a Manufacturing environment
• Associates of Applied Science degree in electrical technology
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Exposure to the REVIT suite of design tools
• Exposure to the SmartPLANT suite of design tools
• Exposure to Rockwell Automation hardware and software products
