Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Construction Administration Manager whom will be responsible for a variety of management roles in specific project, business, or technical units. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist on a number of different projects and may be located in the office or on a construction site.
Builds and maintains favorable working relationships as the primary contact with Clients, Contractors and other team members during construction phase activities.
Reviews, understands and interprets construction drawings, technical specifications, contract documents, etc.
Works closely with the project team to ensure the implementation of design intent of the documents during construction.
Coordinates with design team in the analysis and review of requests for interpretations and submittals.
Performs on-site observations and generates field reports on the progress and quality of work.
Makes substantial completion inspections/determination with list of deficiencies.
Review contractor claims.
Assists in technical document quality control and constructability reviews during the design process.
Can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelors or Post Bachelors in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience overseeing technically complex construction projects is required.
A strong multidiscipline technical background and understanding of construction process paperwork handling, including but not limited to RFIs, Submittals, Change Issuance and Schedules.
In depth understanding of Contract Document Drawings and Specifications is required.
Previous experience working with Clients such as NAVFAC and USACE is preferred.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
