As an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you’ll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients’ successful data center facilities engineering, design and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. You’ll provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process. You may also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and the other members of your electrical design team will work closely with the broader multi-discipline team in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. Your responsibilities will include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients’ continually evolving requirements. Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget and schedule. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful. We are currently hiring multiple Electrical Engineer roles at various levels, based on where you are in your professional journey. Location across the US is flexible.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Advanced progressive experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
PE, or ability to obtain within 6 months
Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Extensive knowledge of and experience with Data Center or Mission-Critical facility design
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Passionate about buildings and construction
Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites.
