Jacobs Program Security Representative TS/SCI in Arlington, Virginia

Your Impact:

We are seeking a Program Security Representative to join our team in Arlington, VA. The individual will work directly with our Clients Program Security Officers to ensure compliance with Special Access Program, physical and personnel security requirements. This position requires an Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the security administration and management functions for a classified program

  • Serve as a key advisor on security related matters to the PSO and program management team.

  • Communicate security related matters both verbally and in writing.

  • Provide updates and conduct periodic reviews of facility accreditation procedures.

  • Responsible for providing annual and supplemental security training for the program.

  • Responsible for shipping and receiving classified documents to include conducting package tracking and submitting tracer reports/letters when necessary.

  • Maintaining accountability for classified material produced and/or stored in the facility using SIMS software.

  • Responsible for processing VAR’s and maintaining logs of all incoming visitors.

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining program Security SOP’s

  • Responsible for all maintenance and combination changes for GSA safes

  • Conducting annual internal inspections and document inventories

  • Responsible for on and off boarding personnel from the program to include briefing and debriefing, requesting appropriate badges and system accesses.

  • Responsible for processing program personnel and potential candidates for initial and periodic investigations through DISS

  • Collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager, ISSM

  • Conducting preliminary inquiries into security infractions and violations

  • Conducting physical security assessments using ICD Technical specifications

  • Maintaining the facilities IDS system to include user accesses and controls.

  • Maintaining personnel security records using SIMS, DISS, and Scattered Castles databases.

  • Coordinating and communicating the facilities security posture with the sponsoring agency

  • Advise the program management on any required modifications to existing or new secure facilities.

  • Travel within the National Capital Region and domestic U.S. as needed (10%).

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Experience performing as or in direct support of a program security officer, personnel security officer, facility security officer, special security officer or information systems security officer.

  • 7 or more years of experience implementing DoD security policies, regulations, and guides.

  • Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Executive Order 13526, ICD series, DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals, and other applicable security policies covering sensitive compartment information within information systems, physical security requirements for facilities, and personnel security for individuals.

  • Knowledge of DoD SAP Manuals Vol 1-4

  • Knowledge of computer networks, applications, and accesses.

  • Previous experience providing customer service functions requiring prioritization of tasks and attention to detail.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Clearance Required:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years or designated CE and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses.

Preferred:

  • B.S degree and ten (10) years of related experience.

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or Risk Management Framework concepts and applications.

  • Instructor experience
