Real Estate Officer/Lease Administrator

Participate in all aspects of real estate acquisition and disposal, including development of customer requirements, cost estimates, market surveys, site evaluation and selection, competitive or sole source acquisition process, and preparation of lease documentation
Ensure that each action complies with Agency and Government regulations and that appropriate internal justifications and approvals are obtained
Support ongoing lease administration activities of WMA and CONUS properties
Serve as liaison with the military and other government agencies and prepare Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) or various internal space-use and License Agreements
Prepare real estate briefings, staff papers, Congressional Notification packages, annual real property reports, and other ad hoc reports
Be willing to work long hours occasionally to complete negotiations and/or assignments within the required time frame
Be willing to travel domestically
TS/SCI Clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in any field, High School diploma or GED and 5 years general work experience, or service in the US Armed Forces with an honorable discharge
A minimum of 2 years of experience at the Developmental level in the field
Work nights and weekends, as required, for operational necessities
Travel domestically, as required
Highly motivated to continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal training and on-the-job experience
Valid real estate license preferred
Professional project management certification preferred
Technical knowledge and skill in cost and price analysis, negotiation techniques, appraisal, market surveys, property management, contracting procedures, and project management
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Federal Property Management Regulations, and General Services Administration Acquisition Regulations
Excellent written, oral and other communication skills
Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results
Ability to work independently and in team situations
