Client Account Manager - Aviation


As a Client Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to impact strategic business relationships with key clients to ensure that Jacobs has a sustained relationship with those clients to achieve complete client satisfaction with work, and fully leverage the relationship to benefit the clients and the firm. Working with members of our team your focus is to make sure that Jacobs is the client’s firm-of-choice, and that the company has a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and is seen as their best advocate for accomplishing their goals.

During your time with us you will:

  • Represent Jacobs to the client in a positive, caring, solutions-delivery approach by engaging the broader firm

  • Identify, charter, and lead client service teams comprised of multi-disciplinary project managers and regional practice leaders around common vision of success

  • Secure management commitment and influence/attract key staff for pursuits

  • Advocate on client's behalf by actively engaging the firm to address client needs, and recommend strategic actions to optimize our business development investment and market share growth

  • Facilitate creation of deep, personal, valuable client relationships between Jacobs personnel and client personnel (management, technical, functional, delivery) to weave a fabric of broad-based relationships between our firm and the clients

  • Develop trust and credibility with clients by engaging in business discussions to formulate winning and portfolio diversification solutions

  • Identify higher levels of client engagement for executive sponsors

  • Coordinate and facilitate Go/No Go decisions, and help develop required sales costs aligned with opportunity potential and return on investment objectives

  • Actively engage with project and Sales teams to influence pursuit team on sales process discipline, win strategy and proposal development, interviews and presentations



Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree required in a technical orbusiness discipline or equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree

  • 15 years of experience inarchitecture, engineering and/or related disciplines. Proven client developmentskills, including previous experience managing large capital improvement projects

  • Proven track record of creating andwinning aviation work in the southeast area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven record of developing zipperedrelationships with key clients at all levels (from executives to key managementlevels)

  • Ability to open doors for initiatingrelationships at client organization

  • Ability to lead an account team, seta vision and strategy, coach/mentor and motivate the team, reach within Jacobsto offer best-in-class solutions, manage commercial and legal negotiations, andclose deals

  • Technical background/experience indelivering or managing large architecture projects/programs is considered apositive and adds credibility in consulting, engineering, construction industryservice offerings and delivery

  • Successful track record of beinginnovative and bringing a differentiated solution to a client

  • Ability to lead through influence

  • High level of emotional intelligence/team builder, coach andmentor

  • Innovative and solutions-oriented thinker

  • Client political savviness
