Position Summary

Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Document Control Manager for the Atlanta, GA office. The Document Controls Manager will be responsible for coordinating and administering assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control and accounting for specification and change documents for a general engineering consultant project. The successful candidate may be located in the office or on a construction site.

  • Manages file naming, electronic filing and submission of documents

  • Establishes procedures for and implements the introduction of changes to engineering documents for assigned project

  • Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, and support

  • Ensures that customer requirements are implemented

  • Reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with contract requirements and configuration management policies

  • May design processes to enhance work flow

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of document management experience on complex transportation infrastructure projects

  • 1-year professional document management experience working on a design-build project within an engineering, architectural, or construction company

  • Thorough understanding of the various design and construction type documents on a transportation infrastructure project

  • 2 years’ professional work experience in a cloud based document

  • 2 years’ professional work experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite is required

Qualifications

  • BA or BS or related experience

  • 2 years’ of professional document management work experience on design-build transportation infrastructure projects

  • 5 years’ professional document management work experience on infrastructure projects other than transportation

  • 5 years’ professional work experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite is required

  • 1-year experience with creation and tracking of work flows in SharePoint
