Start your Jacobs career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow.

Your Impact:

We share a common purpose – to make the world more connected and sustainable. And we’re excited about the innovative ways we can change the world. If you are also interested in turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good, then Jacobs is where you belong. We are searching for a Resident Project Engineer to join our team in metro Atlanta.

In this role, you will be based at a large metro-Atlanta utility. You will be leading a team of designers and technicians on engineering projects where scheduling or size makes in-house design preferable; preparation of bid schedules, estimated quantities and technical specifications; obtaining land disturbance permits, coordination of surveying services requests, coordination of environmental permitting needs, and completion of record drawings. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the design and construction of water, sewer and/or stormwater facilities

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia

• Level II Certified Design Professional as certified by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

At Jacobs, we’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. By joining Jacobs, you’ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other.
