We’re seeking Graduate Civil Engineers to join our Auckland and Christchurch Water & Wastewater Infrastructure teams in early 2021 . You'll help us deliver the impactful water solutions of tomorrow through the engineering and detailed design of water infrastructure assets such as pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, dams and related services.
Our team is currently delivering the largest water infrastructure project awarded in New Zealand, the Central Interceptor, and Graduates will have opportunities to be exposed to this exciting project, as well as working on a broad variety of projects up and down the country. Due to our businses structure, you will also have the opportunity to work on projects in Australia, not to mention the global opportunities Jacobs can offer should you wish to gain international experience in future.
Locally our projects range from renewals packages for water and wastewater infrastructure, to wastewater treatment plant upgrades and up to large sewer tunnels and pump stations. The work is diverse and at Jacobs we treat them you engineers from the get-go. You’re working on meaningful jobs from your first day, and Jacobs provide the support you need to do that. Due to our non-hierarchical structure you will work shoulder to shoulder with our industry leading principals, helping you achieve your career goals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Ideally, you’ve recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering . This is a unique role that requires applicants hold New Zealand / Australian Citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency.
