In your role as Principal Bridge Engineer your technical skills and experience in transport structures will be of key importance. You will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking your project responsibilities and design tasks. You will be expected to provide structural bridge design and management skills, lead and review the work of others and contribute to the strategic development of the transport structures team within New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.

In addition, you will be the discipline lead on medium to large bridge and related transport infrastructure projects with an independency level commensurate with a Principal-level bridge engineer and will work within a range of project delivery models encompassing design-only, D&C and Alliance-based contracts. #LI-AP1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport #ANZBridges

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Relevant engineering qualification (Washington Accord degree)

• Appropriate chartership status (CPEng in New Zealand preferred)

• Extensive experience in bridge and/or heavy civil/marine structures design

• Strong knowledge of New Zealand standards and relevant international standards

• Experience in working within a range of contract procurement types

• Sound knowledge of scoping and pricing for, and delivery of, small, medium and large projects

• Excellent communication skills including social, networking and presentation skills.
