Your Impact:

Based in either of Auckland or Wellington the Principal Road Safety Engineer will champion our road safety capabilities and assist with further growing this business area as part of our core capabilities. They will be responsible for technical leadership and the delivery of road safety projects, with involvement in writing and leading winning proposals as well as providing mentoring and technical / design support nationally.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Ideally you are recognised in the industry as a leading specialist in Safety and have a strong network of connections within New Zealand. This position requires the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in relevant subject

  • Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) or working towards

  • Approved Road Safety Audit Team Leader in accordance with NZTA Guidelines

  • Is technically/professionally competent in Road Safety

  • Demonstrable experience in accident investigation and prevention (AIP); road safety audit; and design team support

  • Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis, report and narrative setting out the findings of road safety investigations
