In your role as a Project Engineer , you will be providing enhanced engineering capability to our project teams. Reporting directly to the Construction Services Lead, you will be required to supervise various construction tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the required engineering quality and outcomes are achieved in accordance with the Design and Principal’s Requirements.
You will manage risk and programme activities whilst ensuring that Health, Safety and the Environment are embedded in everything that we do. The role provides technical expertise across civil, road and rail infrastructure disciplines. When operating outside of your areas of expertise you will be responsible for liaising with other technical experts to ensure the right engineering solutions and advice is provided on-site in a timely and efficient manner. You will bring a creative, collaborative style to problem solving. You will enhance the capabilities of younger staff members by imparting your civil engineering skills and knowledge to those less experienced across matters of civil engineering and construction. #LI-AP1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Relevant Engineering Qualifications
• Knowledge of New Zealand Standards and local client standards
• Specialised expertise in technical procedures or processes including engineering verification, design development, construction support and proposal development.
• Proven knowledge and experience on a range projects.
• Excellent communication skills as well as good social, networking and presentation skills
