About the opportunity
As a result of continued growth, we are looking for an experienced SalesOperations Manager to further grow our market share in New Zealand. The primaryfocus of this Auckland-based role would be to drive the process of securingopportunities through the development of pursuit plans, bid strategy, bidstructure and message creation, presentation development and coaching.
The role will work closely with our Client Account Managers in ensuringthe Jacobs opportunity development process is applied as well as being thefacilitator of the pursuit strategy development after the opportunity has beenidentified.
You will have previous major pursuit and bid management experience, withgood working knowledge of major bid processes, ideally with a sales background.As an influential sales professional, you pride yourself on applying winningstrategies securing new business and are likely to have come from senior salesor account management with extensive customer facing experience where needsanalysis was critical. You will have demonstrated experience developing winningpresentations as well as coaching and mentoring teams in developing anddelivering commercially sound presentations.
Essential to the success in this role, will be your ability tostrategically position the added value of the pursuit process and team withinternal clients, alliances and Joint Ventures. You will be degree qualified,either in business; communications or engineering. A background in majortransport infrastructure, social infrastructure, power and energy or the waterand environment markets would be highly regarded.
