About the position
Reporting to the Director of Operations – Environment, Spatial & Planning and based in either of Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, the purpose of this role is to lead and manage a Section within a performance unit to achieve the objectives and commercial metrics of the performance unit and the wider New Zealand Buildings & Infrastructure business unit.
The key areas of focus for the role are: people, operational management and client relationship management. The role will drive the focus on our clients and business development so that the Section can maintain and build on the Jacobs reputation as a leader in technical excellence and as a key provider of consultancy services. The New Zealand spatial team have a reputation for innovation and agility and have been instrumental in digital transformation of several business processes and clients across New Zealand, improving workflow, automation and spatial enablement of projects.
The role will drive technical excellence across the New Zealand business such that we have the appropriate tools, process, skills and people in place to deliver high quality outputs to our clients.
Key requirements for the role:
Relevant undergraduate degree as a minimum
Experience in client relevant markets and the spatial industry is preferred
Must be able to articulate a clear direction and have good social, networking and presentation skills
Proven track record as a leader
