We have recently won some large commissions and are now seeking highly skilled engineers to join our dynamic team in New Zealand, a team who deliver projects around the world for our global key clients. If you can demonstrate high quality engineering solutions across your qualified discipline and geographical boundaries and you’re looking for a step up from your current role, then this opportunity could be for you.
You will provide technical leadership, sound engineering expertise and provide unique solutions to complex problems whilst supporting the wider ANZ Structural Buildings Engineering Team. A key focus of this role will involve supporting the Principal Engineer/ Team Leader in all aspects of work winning, client relationships and bid preparation. You will be an engaged, resilient and adaptable individual who strives for innovation while maintaining outstanding project delivery and responsible, proactive commercial management. You will support the team to ensure they thrive in a global setting, forging and maintaining cross-geography relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng NZ)
At least ten years of Structural Engineering Design experience working in the Built Environment, preferably with seismic experience
Ideally with at least five years of experience gained in ANZ
Detailed knowledge and experience in your own engineering discipline and good knowledge of related engineering disciplines
Experience in technical leadership of the Structural discipline an advantage
Experience in leading the interface with the entire design team across discipline and organisational boundaries
Sound communication (spoken and written) and presentation skills
