Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice and we have a need for a strong Civil Engineering Project Management professional in Austin, TX!

We want your expertise to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of civil development projects to ensure that our goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Establish work plans and multi-disciplinary staffing needs for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

Direct and coordinate the activities of a team of Project Engineers, Engineers, and Technicians.

Initiate and review proposals.

Maintain positive relationships with current and past clients as assigned while developing new clients through contacts and networking.

Serve as a representative of Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects.

Mentor internal staff.


Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering, or similar

  • Registration as a Texas Professional Engineer, or ability for reciprocity from current state of PE registration

  • Progressive, professional experience on civil development projects with demonstrated project management expertise within the greater Austin/San Antonio markets, willingness to become adept to local markets in 6-12 months

  • Experience with residential, commercial, and community or master planning projects

  • National and Local industry contacts, including extensive professional relationships

  • Be solutions oriented and understand civil land development business
