We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Professional (Intermediate Level) to join our Austin/ San Antonio, TX team where you’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks. As you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks, you’ll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. You’ll coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce single-line diagrams, installation details, electric room layouts, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting designs, power plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies. You will support senior engineers in selection and specification of electrical equipment. You may also be asked to provide on-site assistance during commissioning.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in working in a corporate engineering environment
• Proficiency in REVIT, 3D CADD
• Perform power distribution system design including high-medium-low voltage substation, electrical utilities and facilities design, adjustable/variable speed controllers design from low to high HP machines
• Prepare engineering studies, reports, design review presentations, construction cost estimates & construction management services
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code

• Professional engineer (PE) License
• 5 years’ experience
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• General Experience of PLC and HMI hardware and software (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Modicon)
• Experience reading process and instrumentation diagrams
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Passion for buildings and construction
