We are looking for an Entry Level Traffic Engineer interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale transportation and traffic engineering projects related to traffic operations, safety analysis, corridor studies, traffic simulation modeling, traffic impact analyses, signal timing & operations, and traffic design (signals, signs, pavement markings, illumination, ITS, etc.). You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering or a closely related field
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Microstation/OpenRoads/Geopak)
Experience with Cubic Synchro, PTV Vissim, or similar software.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or on track to obtain
Previous experience in traffic operations and design work or transportation-related coursework
