We're looking for a Senior Architect who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

You will work in a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products. You will perform all aspects of architecture and design and independently apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline. You will also develop designs that require innovation and ingenuity, be expected to perform work with little to no supervision, review work of discipline team for adequacy on completion and provide technical guidance to drafters/designers and engineers including:

  • Collaborating with a team of designers and engineers as Architect/Architectural Designer, you’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors, designing some of the world’s most advanced facilities. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will work together to deliver construction documents.

  • Under general supervision competently perform all conventional aspects of architectural design and analysis

  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgement and evaluation, selection and adaptation of architectural techniques and criteria

  • Exercise judgement and problem-solving skills, reaching out to others for guidance or confirmation when questions arise.

  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control

  • Committed to checking your own work, reaching out to peers and seniors for guidance when questions arise.

  • Perform calculation checking of others’ work.

  • Be responsible for managing your own workload, making and keeping commitments, and taking ownership of your assigned work. Work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner with strong attention to detail.

  • On an assigned project:

  • Work alone or if required with other designers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification, and model creation.

  • Attend project meetings and take an active role to help team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines.

  • Participate in and champion internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviews.

  • Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.

  • Perform technical and business presentations with clients and employees.

  • Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.

  • Participate in the development of proposals, budgets and schedules for process specific work.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program

  • Professional Architecture license

  • At least 6 years of experience with manufacturing projects

  • At least 4 years of Revit design experience

  • Facility and/ or Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical/consumer/chemical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, data center, or similar

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Superior coordination skills

  • Ability to travel to site as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Architecture License

  • Experience with 2D AutoCAD, Sketch up, Adobe Suite, InDesign, and NavisWorks

  • LEED Accreditation

  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas 

  • Displayed ability to learn quickly to broaden knowledge base

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams 

  • Experience in the Electrical Vehicle market is helpful but not required

  • Established Professional network within the EV market
