About the Opportunity:

Due to growth in the current portfolio within National Operations of Enterprise Asset Solutions (EAS), we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our client facing team delivering projects within the energy transition market. The successful candidates will become part of a respected and ambitious team working from our Humber facility within Enterprise Solutions to support the growth and sustainability of the performance unit moving forward. EAS are offering a truly fantastic opportunity which will allow the successful individual to be involved across multiple client sectors from inception through to final delivery.

The role involves management and overall responsibility for the projects and/or equipment packages on major projects. The individual will be engaged within a growing project team assigned to deliver national energy infrastructure projects and be responsible for multi-disciplined packages including civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation.

Based primarily at our Barton upon Humber office with regular attendances on local Humber and Yorkshire based client sites as well as visiting client offices within the UK. You will work in the role of a Project Engineer engaging directly with the clients, supporting the Project Manager overlooking budgets and programmes being accountable for delivering contracts and supporting technically to our tendering, engineering, and design departments to deliver projects safely, on time, and on budget whilst adding value through innovation and best practices.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction or can prove equivalent experience within industry;

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience related to an engineering role;

  • Chartered engineer preferably or working towards status would be advantageous.A background in process, chemical, power generation, and oil & gas;

  • Experience in contracts for both direct and subcontracted labour;

  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of relevant Health and Safety and Environment legislation including CDM and the actions required to achieve compliance here;

  • Robust Knowledge of industry processes and techniques;

  • Ability to gain or have already SC clearance.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Management and overall responsibility for work packages/and or projects;

  • Maintaining programme schedule and quality deliverables are met through the project life time;

  • Ensure compliance to relevant specifications and industry standards, promoting innovation and value saving to the client solution;

  • Supporting design reviews and gate stages and ensure submission of relevant project documentation is submitted on time and with accordance to client requirements;

  • Working with the Supply Chain Manager in providing optimal solutions through the supply chain to deliver client packages, ensuring as far as possible that works are carried out in compliance to budget and schedule;

  • Develop procurement specifications and liaison with equipment vendors;

  • Interact with client design and modular package providers globally to offer technical input where appropriate;
