Position Summary

Designs components or portions of systems, and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them. Has considerable knowledge of the job. Has good understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Performs work of more complex scope. Works under limited supervision; work is reviewed for adequacy on completion. Interacts with internal and external personnel on matters of moderate importance.

  • Structural and Architectural drafting and 3D modeling in the offshore production facility market

  • Must have a good understanding of the general and detailed aspects of drafting conventions and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered

  • Designs components or portions of systems, and modifies existing designs as project scope dictates

  • Creates 2-D drawings in Microstation

  • Works under limited supervision

  • Gathers information, makes studies, performs layout calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal

  • Have understanding of AutoCAD, Bentley ProStructures, and/or CadWorx Steel

Qualifications

  • 3 years' experience of structural drafting and design experience required

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent drafting/design course work required

  • Onshore production facility project experience required

  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
