As an Entry Level Electrical Engineering Professional on our design team in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, LA, you will actively collaborate in creating documents to build systems for power generation applications. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive team as you prepare equipment specifications including drawing review and acceptance testing of switchgear, high voltage breakers, GIS, transformers, and generation control systems. Design teams will also collaborate with you on system modeling and calculations surrounding lightening protection, grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash analysis. You’ll tap into both your creative and analytical sides in this role as you prepare protective relay setting development, calculations, and coordination studies, including SCADA and SEL TRAC systems.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite
Some experience working in a corporate engineering environment, Internship or CO-OP
Attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork
Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both in person and in writing
Ideally * * You’ll Also Have:
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
