Position Summary

Entry level; performs routine tasks to assist Process Engineers under close supervision using well-defined standards and procedures; has moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job; some selection and application of established and specific procedures may be required. Must be assertive.

  • Adheres to all safety standards in the main office, any satellite, or client sites

  • Sets up and maintains the project network drive, and any hard copy files and folders, with the direction of the lead engineer

  • Log and track status and location of PFDs and P&IDs

  • Maintain a working status of any process internal deliverables, such as equipment datasheets, specialty item datasheets, instrument datasheets, etc.

  • Track workshare activities with High Value Engineering Center

  • Helps in gathering and organizing all process documents mandated by the client and project management for the close-out of projects including Process Close Out

  • May assist process engineers in the back checking of P&IDs and PFDs

  • Schedule Process team meetings as needed/directed by lead engineer

  • If assigned to remote location, perform additional tasks as needed such as MOC coordination, administrative duties, etc.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience

  • Some proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Industry experience desirable

  • Keen safety awareness

  • This position may involve intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and lifting of 20 lbs. or less
