Jacobs is a leading provider of software defined synthetic aperture radar and high performance SAR processing systems. Jacobs designs, develops, installs, tests, operates and maintains these systems for multiple DoD and commercial customers, both in CONUS and OCONUS.
We are growing our business and have multiple staffing requirements for personnel that span a large range of disciplines related to our SAR business area. Our capabilities and reputation in this regard are second to none, and we are in need of motivated, dynamic individuals capable of meeting the many challenges and opportunities being presented to our group. Here’s What You’ll Need:
-5-7 Years relevant experience.
-BS or MS in EE, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Physics or Math with emphasis in Radar, Imagery, or Signals Processing, or a related field.
-Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
-An existing SECRET clearance is a plus.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers and work well in a team.
-Experience in developing, building, fielding, and/or maintaining radar hardware, software, and test equipment.
-Familiarity with standard lab tools: oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, time domain reflectometers, etc.
-RF design experience.
-Experience in radar data processing, analysis and/or algorithm development.
-I&T of electronic equipment onto aircraft.
-Operating airborne SAR or SAR processing equipment.
-Experience in troubleshooting of electronic and/or RF systems, both in a lab and in the field.
-FPGA firmware design and implementation.
-Design and implementation of electronic system control software.
-Ability to support QRC missions that involve the rapid deployment and use of KeyW radar assets in support of urgent DoD operational requirements.
-Willing to travel to support radar or processing systems; Travel is typically less than 5%.
-Ability to leverage emerging technology and apply it in innovative ways to quickly solve unique, complex operational problems.
-Must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
