Jacobs is seeking a mid-level Project Integrator to support the Air Force Wideband Enterprise Terminal (AFWET) program's implementation of the Modernization of Enterprise Terminals (MET) and related efforts. Specific activities include building and maintaining a master schedule, tracking resources aligned to projects, and reporting project status information to the AFWET implementation leads in order to de-conflict activities. Must be able to readily identify and report issues that arise with minimal oversight. Position requires regular interface with AFWET Implementation Lead, project managers, logistics and engineering functionals, as well as engineering and installation teams.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Master Schedule: Build and maintain implementation master schedule containing all MET activities and 15-25 targeted sustainment actions per year.

  • Track frequent schedule updates, analyze milestones for likelihood of success, and inform stakeholder of any substantial changes.

  • Translate detailed master schedule into succinct executive summary products for leadership.

  • Resource Tracking: Identify and track utilization of implementation resources across all projects; includes funding, manpower, and installation hardware.

  • Project Status: Build and update project status products for leadership to include briefings, Excel files, and Word documents.

  • Air Mobility Command (AMC) Travel Coordinator: Submitting and monitoring requests for AMC flights through APACS ensuring prerequisite training and submission of DD Form 1833 for AFWET project travelers.

  • Other similar areas as directed by the AFWET Implementation Lead.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and five years of relevant work experience including:

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in project, schedule, and resource management, with DoD experience a plus.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, a positive attitude, ability to work well with others, and flexibility to changing workloads.

  • Ability to work independently on numerous tasks with minimal supervision; must be an expert multi-tasker.

  • Possess significant self-initiative to identify problems as they emerge and improve processes to minimize issues and costs (time, manpower and funding).

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project is mandatory.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required on numerous tasks concurrently; must be an expert multi-tasker.

  • Possess significant self-initiative to identify and resolve problems as they emerge and improve processes to minimize issues and costs (time, manpower, and funds) with minimal oversight.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly master DoD unique transportation logistics systems required.
