Our growing Jacobs Transport Consultancy has developed an enviable reputation in Ireland. We work extensively with high-profile clients throughout Ireland, including the National Transport Authority (NTA), Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Local Authorities and we are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Transport Modeller or Graduate Transport Planner to join our already successful team.
What you’ll be doing:

As a Graduate Transport Planner or Graduate Transport Modeller in our Beflast office, you will support a team of consultants and technicians working on a variety of transport planning projects. You will work on a variety of tasks and projects including data analysis, GIS, report writing, scheme appraisal, transport strategies, public transport planning, active modes planning, strategic and micro modelling, transport impact assessments, and business development.
You will be involved with changing the transport infrastructure in Ireland. Here is a small sample of our recent projects, to show you they type of projects you will be supporting on.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
You will have an honour degree in a relevant transportation planning/ engineering / economic / geography / maths and/or other discipline
You will be able to work well in a team
You will be a strong communicator
Attention to detail will be important to you
You will focus on results and what project deliverables are required
You will be interested in developing your Project Management Skills.
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
Proven communication skills; both verbally and written
Demonstrated a previous interest in working in the Engineering Sector
Full driving licence
