Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice therefore we need to hire a Change Management Support Assistant. The Change Management Coordinator will work within the project team and under supervision of the Resident Engineer on a Sound Transit Link extension project. Assists the Change Manager in drafting change order packages for review and execution, assisting in implementing and managing cost solutions for the client using tools and methods consistent with Sound Transit standards, and other related duties as required. Developing and loading supplemental spreadsheets for pricing, changes, ETC’s, and special analysis and reports as required. This position requires good communication (both verbal and written) skills, good decision-making capabilities, demonstrated proficiency in understanding construction documents, and a clear understanding of when issues need to get escalated to the Resident Engineer.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction related field or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience working in change management/claims (on large infrastructure projects preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) is required
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Exhibits planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to see a project through to completion
Ideally you will have:
• 6 + years of experience working in the construction industry
• Experience using Unifier and MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Scheduling experience
Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
