As a Civil Designer, you’ll have the chance to work on transportation projects that focus on civil roadway design. Each day you will work with a team of designers and engineers to create drawings and simulations using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals. Using your experience, you’ll work with civil engineers and project managers to provide top client service.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Deliver design and construction documents using CADD & Civil BIM applications for transportation clients

· Coordinate the setup of projects on datasources and manage user access.

· Provide software support for project teams and coordinate issues with IT when needed.

· Act as a liaison with IT and project staff to ensure functional and efficient hardware and software configuration for design staff.

· Provide CADD Leadership and production support for project teams, including Project Execution Plan documentation, project kick-off meetings, file exports and client deliverable coordination.

The base salary range for this position is $86,100 to $150,700. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations [add if remote]. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ​

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Associates degree in Civil Design or Technical Drafting

  • 5 years’ experience detailing roadway projects

  • 5 years’ experience with Microstation (InRoads or OpenRoads), AutoCAD Civil3D a plus)

  • Advanced experience with ProjectWise (BIM 360 and Sharepoint a plus)

  • Experience coordinating Microstation, ProjectWise and IT issues to resolve local and project level problems related to CADD deliverables

  • Experience with WSDOT and Washington Local Agency Standards a plus

  • Solid teamwork skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
