We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Instrument and Controls Engineer in Bellevue, Washington. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide.

This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. We design of some of the most complex and specialized facilities being constructed today. Projects for our clients include feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.

Our team is seeking a person who understands the importance of meeting their targeted commitments while being flexible to the ever-changing and fast paced environment of our clients’ sites.

The base salary range for this position is $92,000 to $161,000 for an Associate level position and $110,800 to $193,900 for a Career level position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing various types of facilities and buildings, utility systems, design and interpretation of facility control systems

  • Holds an active professional engineering (PE) license

  • Capable of working in a team environment, including giving and receiving critical feedback

  • Successful experience working with and managing remote domestic and international staff

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Can independently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers

  • Task lead or Project Management experience, with some staff in remote locations

  • Project experience designing infrastructure and facilities, such as Transit, Transportation and Water

  • Some experience in telecommunications and data center design

  • Has large scale industrial skill sets: Valve selection/sizing, AB (Rockwell) Automation platforms, chemical delivery systems

  • Experience with MCC and VFD control requirements

  • Some experience with PLC code/SCADA preferred
