Project Manager, DoD Environmental Projects


Manage tasks performing remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial actions for DOD clients in the Northwest and have a hand in transforming tomorrow. As a Project Manager for Federal projects in Bellevue, WA (Seattle) you will have the chance to help restore environmentally impaired sites. You will lead staff and interact with clients and regulators; oversee site characterization and remediation projects, including data collection and interpretation; track and forecast scope, schedule, and budget; analyze data; prepare reports; and promote safety leadership and accountability. You provide leadership and accountability for the implementation, and measurable performance of the Jacobs Beyond Zero Health and Safety Program.   • BS – in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related degree

  • 8 or more years of environmental consulting or agency experience

  • At least 2 years Project Manager experience

  • HAZWOPER certification or ability to attain and maintain

  • Must be able to plan, perform, and oversee field work

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Person already residing within commuting distance of our Bellevue office is highly preferred

  • Demonstrated excellent client relationship skills

  • Excellent communication skills (writing and verbal)

  • 8 or more years of site characterization and remediation experience, including leading field teams

  • Experience working with DOD clients

  • Registered PE or PG desired

  • Master’s Degree
