Position Summary

Our team is experiencingexciting growth within our established Project / Construction Managementpractice and we have a need for a strong PMCM professional in the PacificNorthwest area. This role is a key “Seller - Doer” position withdual hat responsibility over existing projects and developing a pipeline forfuture work and meeting company growth targets.

  • Leads business development for water/wastewater PMCM market in the Pacific NW region, including traditional PMCM services and Operations and Maintenance services.

  • Acts as Senior Manager responsible for the quality and delivery of PM/CM work performed in regional assignment.

  • Ensures client services are met and on schedule.

  • Improves upon current marketing of company ability and aggressively pursues future work.

  • Typical duties are likely to include communications and coordination with all complementary disciplines.

  • Constantly evaluate staff performance and resources ensuring the right talent is available for company growth when needed.

  • Full managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project on assigned projects: scope, schedule, design, quality, staff, etc.

  • Initiates and reviews proposals and sales activities as well as leads and participates in interviews and presentations.

  • Represents Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and public hearings relative to assigned projects.

  • Reviews plans, prepares or reviews technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.

  • Develops and mentors less experienced staff and develop a succession plan / strategies for the Pacific NW PMCM team.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10 years minimum of progressive water/wastewater PMCM Construction consultant or public agency project experience is required.

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is required; relevant work experience may substitute degree.

  • Experience in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Experience with established local client relationships required.

  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and possess written and oral communication skills is required.

  • PMCM Project delivery and knowledge of design process is required.

Essential Functions:

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
