Jacobs Water Resources Project Manager in Bellevue, Washington

As a Water Resources Project Manager associated with our Northwest Operations, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects related to fish passage, stream restoration, stormwater management, drainage, hydropower, and water conveyance and storage for municipal, private, state, Tribal, irrigation district, and Federal clients. Our teams commonly engage at the forefront of large, complex projects to help navigate the competing challenges of reliable water supply and protection of natural resources.

As a Project Manager you’ll lead project design engineering efforts, provide staff oversight, ensure quality control, and assist clients with innovative solutions for a variety of projects and project types. You will be leading a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. You’ll also support our client development efforts through proposal preparation and sales pursuits for Water Resources projects throughout the region. This position will be based out of our Bellevue, WA office but could lead projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Washington State. If not a Washington PE, must be able to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in water resources engineering and related experience.

• Proven experience designing and leading small to large water resources projects.

• Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, model development and analysis, studies, proposals and/or reports.

• Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

• Master’s degree in fields listed above.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Local candidates with strong network among local municipalities or other water resources clients in the region.
