If you are looking for an opportunity to solve complex challenges and do meaningful work, then you should join our team as a Water Treatment Technologist and Design Leader in Bellevue. As part of our team, you’ll engage with and lead teams as a subject matter expert in drinking water, reuse, or wastewater and industrial water treatment technologies. You’ll leverage your expertise in process and piloting evaluations, hydraulics, water chemistry and quality, treatment technologies, and applicable regulatory frameworks to help strategize and deliver meaningful solutions for water treatment project challenges locally, regionally, nationally, and across the globe. You’ll also engage in business development and strategic market/positioning leadership roles as part of our local, regional, and national client engagement, technical solutions, and marketing and sales teams.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

  • Washington State Professional Engineers license, or ability to secure via comity or examination within 12 months

  • 10-20 years of progressive process engineering and project delivery experience with treatment for drinking water and reuse, or wastewater and industrial treatment, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, and design for a variety of water treatment process technologies and applications

  • 5-15 years of related experience in process and design development and leadership roles, including staff development and mentoring

  • 5-15 years of related technical solutions, sales, and market strategy engagement and leadership, including client relationship development and engagement

  • A demonstrated ability to effectively participate in and lead multi-disciplinary technical, market strategy, and sales support teams

  • Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks applicable to water treatment and quality

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Master’s or other graduate degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

  • Professional Engineering license in adjoining western or other states (e.g. California, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, etc.)

  • 5-15 years of related project management and task leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects and tasks

  • History of active engagement and visibility in related professional organizations (e.g. AWWA, WEF, WateReuse, etc.)

  • Experience with master and facilities planning, hydraulic evaluations, and comprehensive process mechanical and design discipline coordination
