Jacobs Process Engineer (m/w/d) in Berlin, Germany

Location: Magdeburg (Germany)

Our Process/Chemical Engineers:
Organize, assign, and delegate necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers
Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines to develop designs
Depending on the task scale, will lead or work within a team, or work as an individual designer
Take responsible charge of the process design, including technical accuracy, completeness, and quality of construction documents
Analyze and design complex Chemical, Gas, Waste and UPW systems, Manage Process Design Development through standard process design documentation including PFD’s and P&IDs
Exercise judgment in developing plans or alternatives and work with teams to assure quality plans
Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities
Review construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents
Here’s what you’ll need :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 6 years’ industrial design experience
Familiar with carrying out HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and safety reviews
Familiar with Hazardous Area Classification Assessments under ATEX or NFPA rules
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and German
Preferred requirements
Extensive experience in design of electronics systems or other advanced chemical process manufacturing facilities
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) status or working towards chartership/professional recognition
