Your Impact:
We're looking for a Telecoms Engineer (m/w/d).
Location: Magdeburg (Germany)
Here’s what we need:
Perform engineering and design tasks required to produce construction documents in collaboration with a team of engineers and designers
Design of telecommunications cabling infrastructures based on customer design criteria, national and international regulations, TIA/EIA industry standards and the Telecom Distribution Methods Manual
Responsibility for designing the following elements and systems: Backbone distribution, Horizontal distribution paths, Voice/data cables and connection hardware, Outdoor facilities, Telecommunication rooms
Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines in developing designs
Carry out quality controls on design services
Conduct site visits and design reviews
Here’s what you’ll need :
At least 5 years’ experience in design of telecom systems
Data Centre experience preferable, or large scale industrial projects' experience
Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector
Engineering/ design experience in the telecom systems
Experience in equipment layout definition
Working knowledge of NEC and current BICSI standards
Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels
Experience using REVIT and BIM
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and German
