PL/SQL Developer

Description

The PL/SQL Application Developer will provide technical support for a federal government acquisition system by providing programming expertise to develop and maintain server and client applications and web interfaces as well as providing subject matter expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Qualified candidate will also be willing to adapt, learn, and execute new business processes outside of normal programming experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field;

  • 3-5 years of Oracle PL/SQL programming experience including developing and enhancing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts;

  • Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Certification is required within 6 months of hire;

  • Experience writing SQL queries for reports development purposes;

  • Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills;

  • Solid oral, written, and presentation as well as strong interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred skillsets:

  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS markup and JavaScript programming

  • Familiarity with Java

  • Experience with requirements analysis and meeting milestone deadlines
