Your Impact:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of various documentation that pertains to a federal acquisitions office environment. This individual will help write, copyedit, and maintain items such as:
• Functional documentation that covers the usage and capabilities of various web applications
• Help guides/tip sheets
• Presentations and slideshows
• Capturing and documenting meeting minutes
• Technical documentation regarding in-house software applications
Additionally, this individual will take part in the following activities as secondary responsibilities:
• Application Help Desk Support
• Incident Management
• Maintenance of an online document repository, such as Sharepoint
Here’s What You’ll Need:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1 year of technical writing experience. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Required skills:
o Candidate must display proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Visio)
o Ability to work both independently as well as within a team.
o Ability to follow directions, take ownership of work, and meet deliverables/deadlines.
o Ability to understand complex federal acquisitions processes from a transactional point of view
• Preferred skills:
o Oracle Database 11g+, SQL, PL/SQL
o Appian development
o Blue Prism development
o QA/Testing experience
o Experience with the project lifecycle development process (analysis, design, code, test, migrate)
