We are looking for a passionate and client-focused Water/Wastewater Design Engineer in Bingham Farms, Michigan (Southeast Michigan) to support our water/wastewater treatment and conveyance team.

As a key member of our Bingham Farms team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as an engineer on water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects – working on projects with high degrees of technical complexity, from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. You will be part of a multidiscipline design team, collaborating with other team members to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets, while helping to advance our business development strategies.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Demonstrated understanding of one or more of the following: drinking water treatment and reuse, wastewater treatment, master planning, water/wastewater system hydraulic modeling, conveyance and storage, and/or treatment processes and technologies.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with clients

*Ideally, You’ll Also Have: *

  • More than 5 years of progressive engineering design experience

  • Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Experience with hydraulics and hydraulic modeling

  • The initiative to stay on the leading edge of water technology, as demonstrated through ongoing and active participation in professional societies.
