We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Maintenance Consultant to join our team!
This role provides the opportunity to support our expert maintenance consultancy offering. You will assist and advise clients on short, medium and long-term investment plans and provides expert advice and assurance for the operations, maintenance and performance of utility assets.
You will work closely with our clients to provide leadership and proven expertise in the maintenance of utility assets offering leading-industry best-practice and demonstrable cost-effective tools and techniques
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Degree-qualified in a science, engineering or financial discipline
Competent, confident and effective communicator at all levels within an organisation
Experienced in the maintenance of water industry assets including statutory inspections (LOLER, PUWER, COMAH, DSEAR, PSSR etc)
Familiar with scheduling of planned, corrective and reactive maintenance within asset-intensive industries
Knowledge of reliability engineering and maintenance optimisation techniques, TPM, RCM, CBM etc
Enthusiastic, self-starter with an open mind who is willing to challenge established practice
Knowledge of working in an Operational environment including permits to work, risk & method statements, working at heights and within confined spaces
Knowledge of maintenance KPIs, reporting and root cause analysis
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
Experienced facilitator of small-group workshops
Experience of workforce management
Knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) (SAP PM, Ellipse, Maximo, Infor, Pirana etc) and the construction of asset registers and data hierarchies
Familiar with Spares Management approaches and systems
Knowledge of maintenance and/or asset management/ISO 55000 maturity assessments
Knowledge of water quality regulations with respect to maintenance activities
Familiar with asset condition assessment techniques
Experienced in the design and production of maintenance dashboards
