We are looking for a dedicated Project Surveyor to grow with our collaborative team and work on a wide variety of infrastructure projects. Based in your own home town in the Pacific Northwest, we will ask you work with Project Managers and Field Surveyors throughout the region and globe to complete survey related task on major infrastructure programs.

We'll Also Ask you to:

Work primarily in the office or home office overseeing and directing field crews performing control, boundary, topography, and laser scanning. You will also be responsible for post process field data in a variety of software platforms to create client deliverables in accordance with scope and applicable standards/specifications. Specific task will could include:

  • Field crew setup

  • Geodetic control network planning and design

  • Control survey processing and adjustment

  • Feature processing of topographic field data in CAD

  • Generating, editing and clean-up of Digital Terrain Models (DTM)

  • Title commitment review

  • Public records research

  • COGO calculations

  • Determination of Land and Right of Way boundaries

  • Drafting of Land Survey Plats, ALTA Surveys, and Topographic Maps

  • Writing property descriptions

  • Obtaining permits

  • Obtaining Right of Entry

  • Ensuring all QC plans are followed

  • Work with PM to establish estimate of hours to complete each task

  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline team

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 5 years’ experience in Land Surveying

  • Experience with either AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation Inroads, Trimble TBC

  • Experience with DOT standards and specifications, preferred but not required.

  • CST, LSI or PLS certification preferred but not required

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in applicable field

Also Required:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Good social and communication skills

  • Ability to pass drug screen and background checks

The base salary range for this position is $85,800 to $154,200. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations [add if remote]. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
