Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice therefore we have a need for an experienced Roadway Designer to support transportation projects in the Northwest.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Executing design and layout tasks.

  • Reviewing related designs, layouts, and drawings.

  • Specifications and CADD standards.

  • May lead and mentor junior level highway technicians.



  • A CAD Technical Degree or equivalent AA degree required

  • At least 10 years design/drafting experience on highway/roadway projects is required

  • At least 10 years design/drafting experience in the use of MicroStation XM and InRoads required

  • Must have expereince with DOT's and a clear understanding of PS&E tasks.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills including the proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) is required

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Exhibits planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to see a project through to completion

  • Excellent attention to detailing of complex civil design components

  • Experience with Projectwize Setup, KMZ creation and Openroads experience preferred.
