Jacobs Senior Bridge Engineer in Boise, Idaho

As a Senior Bridge Engineer and a vital member of our Boise team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on bridge and transportation structure design projects. You’ll coordinate design activities and meetings between Jacobs staff and subcontractors, perform quality reviews, prepare budgets and schedules for bridge design tasks. You’ll also help train, direct and mentor junior engineers and CAD staff. You will have the opportunity to grow our portfolio of projects with Idaho Transportation Department, Ada County Highway District, and Idaho Cities, Counties and Highway Districts in additional to being engaged on design work across the country.
BSCE
PE registration
A minimum of 10 years bridge design experience with a background in steel girder design, prestressed concrete design, and earth retaining structure design.
Thorough knowledge of AASHTO LRFD design code. Proficiency in LARSA, Leap Bridge Concrete, or Bridge Link software or similar analysis and design software - Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and to direct the work of others
Project management or task management experience
Excellent focus on client service
Experience supporting proposal development Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
