We are looking for a Structural Design Technician/Designer in our Boise, Idaho office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing Structural CAD Design to our Water Business project stakeholders and design teams. You’ll have a proficient understanding in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) using either Bentley AecoSIM or AutoDsk Revit platforms.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop 3D models using CAD software (Revit preferred)

  • Develop technical drawings using CAD software

  • Manage 3D models and technical drawings using Bentley ProjectWise or BIM 360 drawing management software

  • Manage multiple project deadlines and deliverables

  • Collaborate with other team members, both internally and externally, to understand scope of work

  • Provide mentorship to junior CAD designers

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Associate degree or other course certification in Technical Drafting field

  • At least 5 years working experience in Revit or other 3D modeling software

  • Understanding of Facility Design and Structural detailing

  • Working knowledge of standard drawing management software packages

  • Attention to detail

  • Deadline-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple projects on various timeline
